So today I went to drop off my son at school and I received a present from one of my son's classmate's mother. At first when we meet she was just Adam's mom and I was Sean's mom. As time went by and from interacting with the same person every day at the same time... the conversations become stronger and closer each day. I'm so glad that I have met Jen. She is a very honest and kind person and for that I'am grateful she is a part of my life.
Besides having both of our kids in the same class, we come to find that we have a lot more in common. We both love our Iphone's , we love texting and we love candles.
I received these from her today, as a Mother's day gift.
So on my way back home, I was thinking what Am ' I going to give her... without me even thinking twice I knew just the thing.... got in the door and I walked straight to my pink patio so I can make her a card... what else is better when you create something handmade and from your heart. :0)
So I wanted to make a different kind of card and this is the card I made for my friend Jen today. :0)
This is a pop up card. One of my newest followers shared the link with me, and I got the idea from there.
The candles smell sooooo good.... I don't know which one to light up first. and which one was going to be on my patio and the other one in my room.
Thank you Jen for being such a caring person.
Catarina, this is beautiful! I adore the bright, cheery color choices. Spring pops right out of that envelope. :o) Such a sweet story, too. It's so lovely when a friendship develops like that. I hope you had a lovely Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings! :o)
I wouldn't have done it without you. Thank you so much Karen for introducing me to Pop Up Card.
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure, Catarina! :o) I'm doing another "first" this weekend! It's fun to spice things up a bit by trying new things. :o)
