Wedding planning #5 - Ring Pillow

Happy Monday everyone!

I hope that you had a wonderful weekend!  I have a new project to share with you today, which I been working on.   Since I'm a DIY bride I been trying to find some ideas for the ring bearer (which is my son) At first I was thinking of a book or a boxe... but  I came across this idea over on this blog... (if you would like to check)

My pillow is not complete yet but I will make sure to post it once i'm done.

Materials needed:

Unbleached Muslin (you can purchase at Acmoore or Michael's)
Burlap - you can buy this at Joann's - 2 pieces of a 5x5
Printer

Here is how I did my ring bearer pillow.

1. I created a calendar on the computer using microsoft excel.  Used a piece of muslin fabric, about half size of a regular printer paper and taped each corner to the paper.  Inserted to the printer and printed at low speed it print perfectly to the fabric.

2. I cut a piece of iron on adhesive to the back of the fabric and ironed to the burlap for a few minutes.

3. Sow the 2 pieces of burlap to create a pillow.  (I'm not a sowing person but I had my tailor sowed the two pieces for me, creating this lovely pillow) I'm not finished with this project yet but I wanted to show you how cute it turned out.

I hope you enjoyed my post today.

Have a wonderful monday!!!!
