Bee Happy Card

Hi everyone today I have two projects to show you which I'm very excited about. For both cards I used Create a critter Cartridge and I used S&P Company Stamps.

             

For my frist Card, I made a welcome baby card for a baby shower coming up.  Using my cartridge I cut the baby duck at 3 1/2'' and the umbrella at 3''.

For this card I used:

For my second project, I made my first easel card.

Have a Nice trip card (Boa Viagem)

Hi everyone hope you all are doing well.  We had such a bad weather this past weekend and I had to move all my crafts to another room of the house since. So I was not able to finish a couple of projects.  Thank God that we had no flooding and no major damage to our house.  Finally after a whole day of cleaning I was able to sit down and finish up at least this card. My bff is going on vacation this week and I wanted to mail her a happy vacation card. btw she loves COW'S. Anything and everything... and so another reason to use this great cartridge which I ADORE sew mux.

Hurricane Irene 2011

Hi everyone, I hope you had a wonderful week and I really really wish that your weekend will have sunshine and lots of beach time. As some of you may know I'm from NJ and so Unfortunately for us on the east coast are not so lucky this weekend, we are having this ugly storm coming our way. I really hope that Irene decides to take another path and just go back to the ocean and just be there.  I asked my son if he was worried  and he said no mommy because its going to go right. Little minds of innocence make us learn in so many ways.  So today my day was basically moving all my craft and baking things from my patio to another room of the house but because we are not sure what this may damage , I didn't want to take the risk of loosing all my supplies. So I was wrapping and moving all my supplies to a not so outside room.... I do love that room.  Anyhow I'm sure I won't be blogging or commenting on any post has I'm wrapping up all my things... I'am so nervous but I have given my worries to God only he can helps us through this.  May God Bless you all from this storm. Have a great weekend everyone, please stay safe wherever you are.

Cricut for Beginners - August Featured Artist

Hi everyone, I hope you are having a great week and its finally wednesday. I have so many things to catch up on this week. One of my dearest closet friend is getting married I'm so excited to be a part of this special moment of her life. :0)  I made this cute card for her which I will be posting sometime this week, but because I don't want her to see it, I will post it after the wedding. :0) Anywhoooo.... so I have great news to   announce.... I wanted to let you know that I was featured as the August Artist over at Cricutforbeginners.  Its so amazing how much God is so wonderful to his children.  Thank You God for all my blessings.  If you would like to check their blog please click here or you can scroll down to read their post. 

This month's Featured Artist is Catarina who has been scrapbooking for 10 years, and has delved into card marking just this past year! We just loved her beautiful “Fashionista” card and just had to share it with you.

Catarina is mother to her 5 year old son, Sean. He is in for a real treat – we can only imagine all of the beautiful cards Catarina will dream up for him! Catarina says she first bought her Cricut in February of 2011 and has become addicted to it. She loves everything the Cricut has to offer and the endless creativity it provides. And she really does love Cricut -- she owns an Expression, Create, Gypsy, Cuttlebug and Cake machine! She hopes to complete her collection with the Imagine and has already picked up 12 cartridges. Some of her favorite Cricut cartridges are Forever Young, Tie the Knot and Create a Critter.

For Catarina’s card, she used the ever popular Forever Young Cricut cartridge. If you haven’t worked with this cartridge before, it has a ton of darling shapes of fashion models. The models posed in every which way wearing dresses, skirts and pantsuits. Totally cute! In Catarina’s card, she used “Model 3” on page 26, which was cut at 3 ¼ inches.

The cardstock used for the dress on her card really catches my eye. I love the simplicity of the diagonal lines and it really stands out against the bold color of the purple cardstock. Some bling was added to the model’s purse and a satin ribbon ties the entire card together. Amazing work!!

Mickey Mouse B-day Tags and Layout

Using my Mickey Mouse Cartridge I cut this Silhouette Mickey Mouse at 2''.

Using my photoshop program I made these tags and with a 1 1/4 circle puncher to cut the circle tags. 

I really love the amazing unlimited creativities the Cricut machine can bring to ones craft room. 

Here ar the two layout I made using the same cartridge for Jayden 1st birthday.

Card for a Fashionista

Hi everyone, hope your having an awesome week.  I been a little busy I been working on a project for a Mickey Mouse Birthday Party for this weekend... but I promise that once I'm done I will be posting it on my baking website... be sure to come back and check it by clicking here.  Anywoohh my mommy went on vacation this week :( she will be gone the entire month. I'm so happy for her I really hope that she will have a great time, she has been looking for it for sometime.  So since she went overseas to visit my family I wanted to send a few cards. I really loved the colors of this paper pattern and so I made an envelope to match the card.  

So my dear son wanted to participate on the class and he made his own card.  

Here is the card he made on his own. His stamping is a little off , but so perfect for a 5 yr old, 

and on top of that he asked me if he can do a little different.
